Addiction medicine
Personalized, evidence-based care for people interested in changing their relationship with problematic substances or behaviors
A personalized approach
Everyone's relationship with substances or behaviors is different – your care should be, too. At Northbay Health, we provide personalized, outpatient addiction care for our patients who are interested in changing their relationship with problematic substances or behaviors.
Committed to reducing stigma
We believe in providing evidence-based care, reducing the stigma associated with substance use and addiction, and applying harm reduction principles whenever applicable to our patients’ care.
Your initial evaluation will include a comprehensive review of your medical history, mental health and personal goals. This ensures your care plan reflects your whole story – not just your symptoms.
Whether you're ready to stop using a substance completely or want support to begin making a change, we meet you where you are. Once your initial evaluation is complete, follow-up visits may include recommendations about medication to treat withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, or reduce the risk of relapse.
