Theresa’s heart disease story

Theresa, an avid golfer and otherwise healthy individual, never expected a day on the course to lead to Northbay Health’s emergency department.

While teeing up a ball on the golf course, Theresa felt what she thought was dizziness, but it turned into a life-threatening condition requiring a pacemaker – and then hours later she ended up having a heart attack.

Thanks to the swift action of Northbay’s expert cardiology team, Theresa received life-saving care including a pacemaker and a stent.
